Ode to Altman

I was sad to hear about the recent death of Robert Altman.
Although I haven't seen many of his films I have read many books and articles about them and understand that he was a very important film maker.

One that I did manage to watch was 'McCabe and Mrs Miller'. It was worth watching and I went a bought the dvd afterwards coz I liked it so much. Its hard to put your finger on whats appealing about the film but I just liked it. The scene in the snow at the end looks amazing.

Kind of makes me think that it might be worth watching more of his films, instead of reading about them....Nah
