So much news
Wow, what a week. I am acting team lemur at work and lovin' it! I have been marching around acting all seniority-ish and getting really angsty. Just what I always dreamed of. I had to send an email to my manager, director and Group Manager today apologising for the tone of one of my emails on Friday.
In my team lemur duties I have discovered some classic fuckups at work and its a spot fire cleanup deal. All my work hass been put aside for now.
I went to two political demonstrations this past week. The rally at the G for the IR reforms and the 'Long Walk' for aborigines. I'm sooooooo political! It was pretty good fun and I got sunburnt on sunday.
I also managed to sleep a lot on the weekend which is always nice.
In other news....I gave up reading the life of pi coz it was boring. I have renamed it 'the boring life of pi'. It now sits on my shelf next to Bord of the Rings. Man that book is so boring. I can never get through it. I do like Schmeagle though.
Im now reading 'Post Office' by Charles Bukowski which is really good. I saw a doco on him a few months back and he writes well. Am thinking he could be worth reading more of. I think he wrote heaps of poetry.
I have finalised the dates for my cycling trip with Uncle Tony so I need to get organised. Have to sort out freight to get Whitlam over there. Accommodation on the island and supplies and spares.
